No. Unless you want them to pick from your won't play list, but I do not recommend that. xD
Other than that, we have been thinking about asking people with a high% of games played to create a list of games that they might wanna replay to be picked for this challenge.

I think you mean Real CV ratio, not just Real CV?

I have an old account which I don't use actively actually I never really used, just tested it out :P since I'm using my own local copy of steamcompletionist, but I can organize my BLAEO games before August and keep it updated afterwards :)

Hi, i am tempted to try it out.
Most of the time i am struggling in deciding what to play on my own at least when it comes down to my Backlog.
So this seems like a good source to get "forced" to play certain games i may have forgotton about.
How will this whole thing work?
As far as i have understand it, during day 1-2 one user will choose three games for another one.
How are the user pairings determined?
Are they shuffled into pairs by some kind of generator?

Yes, pairs will be randomized every month. The chance of getting the same pair twice will be really low. If you have any more doubts about, let me know.

The ruleset at the Moment says:
A member may request that whoever picks his/her games, refrain from choosing Early-Access, MP-only, horror games or unfinished episodic games.
How about games in a series?
For Example:
The Longest Journey.
Dreamfall - The Longest Journey.

I would not like to play the 2nd and 3rd game before the first one. To avoid getting the former one(s) propably spoiled.

It's not in the rules, however in the guidelines we ask people to avoid picking sequels, if the member has not played the previous game. That said, it's still up to the member to decide which game they wanna pick, it's just a guideline, not a rule after all.

Hmm, i planned to be a spectator during the first month.
The Forum of the Group was viewable do the public a few days ago but not anymore.
Is there any way to just be a spectator for one pick and play round, to see how the generall flow is like?

We changed visibility because our spreadsheet containing all the names, the games picked, etc is fully editable. We don't want some random person finding the link and messing with it. Here is a screenshot of our monthly picks.

After looking at it, it appears that it would not be a good idea to be part of the group.
There are some picks i played and needed alot more time then the avarage HLBT Time indicates.
So i would feel to stressed while playing, which is something i do not like to get into my gaming habbits.
Of course i wish everyone who likes this approach to fight their Backlog a lot of fun in doing so.

About your question, it can definitely happen, but since people pick 3 games, if 1 doesn't work, there are still 2 games left to be played.

You can just use SGtools to calculate (Real Sent/Real recieved) or use ESGST script and it will show in your profile.

We had to change that. Blaeo accounts really make things a lot easier. It was a lot harder to pick for the 1 person without a blaeo account, even though he had only 200 games in his account.

Q: Do I have to play 3 games every month?
A: NO! Someone is gonna pick 3 games (1 long, 1 medium and 1 short), but in order to complete the challenge, you just have to play one of them.
Q: Do I have to participate every month?
A: No. You can take a break whenever you want, you just need to report to us before the next picking phase starts. If you wanna take a long break (3+ months), it's better that you leave the group. You can rejoin later! :)
Q: I don't have 7 wins yet. What do I do?
A: Join some groups! I recommend Unlucky 7. :)
Q: Why is BLAEO mandatory?
A: It makes picking a LOT easier. As you can see here, you can put any game you own in one of those categories. It will look like this when you finish. See how easy it is to spot the games I've already played (green and blue), the ones I've been playing (yellow), the ones I don't want to ever play again (red) and last, but not least, the games I haven't touched yet (white)? You may also filter games by category
Q: I haven't reached 15% yet, nor 40 games beaten in that category, can I still join?
A: Unless, you've got a pretty strong case to make to us, probably not. :/
