may the best one live honor?...
many noble men have tear the face. may the son break earth.?
btw this can't be considered as posting the solution or hints.. it's impossible to find a connection with this.. i am close to giving up

Other language, other grammatics, and Dragons have WAY other Grammatics flameroar ^^
Well if it's broken so blame BethSoft for not thinking it through enough, and for making too much of the runes, or not enough.
Still love the old Ultima runewords: "IN (make/create/cause) VAS (great) FLAM (flame) = Ignite or "AN (negate) ZU (sleep)" = Awaken, or the perfect nongrammar example: "VAS (great) KAL (invoke) AN (negate) MANI (life) IN (make/create/cause) CORP (death) HUR (wind) TYM (time)" = Armageddon ^^
And ancient languages that are only fragmentary found have much stranger outcomes^^
An well, of course typos in wiki and source books are not so seldom as anyone might think :D

Or does pointing out links to the language break the rules?

Either this is the first really hard riddle I found on SG, or there is a lack of knowledge about the Elder Scrolls universe on my side. I hope it's not a language barrier (English is not my native language), because, as iTZi pointed out, the sentences are not correct.

I give up. Even after all the translations and hints with 64 hours and the second o in too and something about the end of something, I just don't see it. I'm just going to assume this requires knowledge of something that I don't know about.
Thanks for the giveaway though.

A friend and I tried brute forcing it (each doing half, well, they ended up doing like 3 quarters of it) with the clues given, we got nothing so I assume we were mistaken about one of the clues or missed something.

Nah mate, that's too cryptic. No links whatsoever can be made between any of your hints and the code that is supposed to come out of your riddle. I understand not making it easy for anyone, but this requires dumb luck or autistic-level thinking. Shame, really.

looks like this is over. i have a feeling it was much easier than a lot of us were making it out to be - i had a few assumptions, so let me know if i'm on target - did it
a. have anything to do with pronunciation, rather than translation?
b. was 64 hours the more important hint, or perhaps the only hint?
either way, i couldn't figure out anything through these avenues so i gave up.

the second hint suggested that there was only one numerical digit. regardless, i was using permutations of anywhere of three to five at one point based on a wild leap at what the hint suggested. i was wrong, of course. i spent way too much time on this.

Proof below, if you watched closely you were able to spot it. Please also read my reply to "ahatf" below. Might explain things.
Here's how to solve:
First hint was "long line", rather my english that messed it up, I meant the l or the I (still don't know which letter it is basically). This hint was supported by saying that the first letter is either an L, l, i, or I
Second hint was 64 hours. It's the number that counts. This hint was supported by hint #2, saying that the number comes after the first letter.
This is where the last 2 letters were to be found. Some brute-forced their way into it which is kinda sad. The "kR" in "Kren" (yeah i swapped the capital letters for this) have been written in italics some times. And the two sentences lead to 2 words whose first letters equal k and R. l64kR, there you go

Thanks for the solution. Could you (or somebody who figured it out) please post the two words that starts with k and R? "Many Noble Men Have/Was Tear(s) THE Face. May THE Son(s) Break Earth." leads me nowhere. Maybe I just can't see the obvious. It feels that the riddle was about having the luck to open your post at the right time (when you put "kR" in italics) or sitting around pressing F5. I opened your post 3-4 times to check for new hints but haven't seen any changes in the headline.
Nevertheless, this was the first riddle on SG that I couldn't solve. (It is a bit frustrating, now that I know about the "kR" in italics.) I take my hat off to you, pwnflakes! :D

Amazingly how no one ever noticed how often I changed the headline! If you watched it for some while you would have noticed how I put "kR" in italics lots of time (mind the Kren in dragon language). Also the translation hints you to two words with these letters as first. The winner solved it that way ;) So lets see whether you can access the page now. Head's up, there will be more skyrim from my side!

I didn't bother read translating everytime, but I noticed that at first you had "long line" bolded, then you changed that and only left "64 hours" bolded. After that though I left so you could have done stuff I didn't notice.

Are you freaking serious? Sorry to say this but its people like you that ruin sites for me. There's people in there I have never ever talked to, and I have chatlogs of the first talk even before it ended, asking how they got through. I filtered a few and had the legit ones left. Those people are unknown to me and have proven that it's possible to solve. Also you got all those hints and if you watched closely the 5 digit code was obvious. Way to destroy my mood dude.

I actually got everything till the kR, but now that you think off it was pretty god dam obvious! Kren = Break = BREAK IN... you sir are really cleaver, sadly I gave up just about 3 am here so it wasnt that obvious till now.
Great freaking giveaway

If you have won this giveaway, I will have to kindly ask you to explain how you got the solution. Please understand that I can't accept methods such as leaking, or hacking via things like bruteforce. MFW >_>
