Hi all,
I'm new here and want ask you guys maybe you could help me.

I opened support ticket about week ago and still it pending for replay. so...

I want to change my nickname is it possible? (my current nick and steam nick not the same)?

Friend of mine sent me two copies of Warlock - Master of the Arcane.
One of them I activated and for the second open giveaway, after few minutes my giveaway was deleted and the moderator bobofatt write that the game available for free.
Now one slot of giveaway is locked.

You can change your username if I'm not mistaken, but you're gonna have to wait for support to look into your ticket. I have some tickets that are still waiting after more than a month, some others got a response very quickly.

As of your giveaway slot, you still have two available. Successfully completing giveaways will unlock more slots.

  1. there is no need for the nicknames to be the same

  2. wait a while and the ga slot will be available

  3. be patient, the support people do this for free in their spare time

  4. before contacting support, aks in the forums => you get answers faster and support gets less tickets which reduces the wait time

If you haven't received a response after a week, "bump" the support ticket by commenting on it. Do this once a week.

Well, I have had one for ~3 months without a reply, so learn to wait.

Me too, replying it didn't change anything. But it's probably a matter of the person reported, cause all the rest of tickets got attended soon.
Note they are volunteers

You can't just complain for waiting a week! I am waiting a month and yesterday a friend of mine told me he is waiting 6 weeks!

Can't you show some patience? Do you see people making posts complaining? No! Only you did! Respect the fact that mods and admins have a life besides steamgifts!

It is kind of amazing how often people talk about the support tickets taking a long time in the forums, and others never pick up on it.

I sent a ticket and the response was 3 months later.
But the resolution was so beautiful, it made me cry.

I rate it 8.8/10 for undertaking a massive effort to handle so many tickets with only a handful of people.

SG is a small, volunteer based site. There are only a handful of admin and mods and a couple of them are working on SG2. They all have lives of their own and are WILLINGLY giving up their PERSONAL free time to do things around here. With the average wait time for non-emergency support tickets seemingly over a month (I have one that is over 2 months old waiting to be replied to or whatever, but seeing as that it isn't life or death, I am in no rush), a week is nothing. Give the admin and mods a chance to get to it when they can, and be sure to thank them for their help since they are doing this without pay or rewards.

You have two slots still, so use them wisely and the more you give, the more slots will eventually open up. I currently have 15 slots.
