Is it my impression or the Yakuza Collection was cheaper some months ago?

Thanks for the comment, now I'm probably wait before buying the collection. It's 26 euros for me and I only own 0, 3 and 4.

they really need to discount Yakuza 0 more... you know... get people into the series for cheaper.

if you like shenmue you'd love yakuza story is better and so is gameplay

Well combat in the first 6 is amazing fun and the characters are all really good. Think of the intensity of a kdrama when it comes to the story. I am not the biggest fan of the switch to turn-based in 7, but it isn't so bad. It is still a Yakuza game and if you play the first 6 you'll understand exactly what I mean. It is such a long running series for a reason.

I would say that there are some clear differences between Shenmue and Yakuza.
Yakuza is way more battle focused than Shenmue, for better and worse

I got it for 5$ some months ago and can say it's a decent price for an amazing game.

for what it's worth, it usually goes on sale for either 4.99 or 5.99 euros, and I got 82 hours (so far) out of it + a top 3 game I have ever played. Could not recommend it more for the price it goes for sale on, it's an absolute steal!

looks like it goes on sale at times for $5 USD, its currently $7.
inconsistent sale prices :/

Has anyone played here Like a Dragon? I see it is a first Yakuza game with time based combat so that sounds a bit interesting

It’s like a Persona-lite, it’s great

Hm yeah. This is the first Yakuza game that actually interests me. I tried the previous ones in the series but the overabundance of minigames at every corner just kills the interest for me

The combat becomes a bit of a drag towards the end, but it definitely has it's own ups! And It is after all a Yakuza game so go for it!

I think I stopped playing at around chapter 7 or 8 for that same reason. But for sure I want to finish it.

to tell it in dunkeys words "this game is as long as two yakuza games which is a blessing and a curse" ... some dialogue are extremly long. the combat is alright, prefer the original combat more, + - same minigame count as the older ones and the (sub)stories are what motivated me to finish the game. also some of the moves and enemys are just ridiculous :D

I am tempted to buy "Yakuza: Like a Dragon", but we all know it will be in a humble choice bundle at some point.

Are all the older yakuza games already humbled? I'm not following closely...
because I think this will be the lowest price on steam for Yakuza Like a Dragon, very tempting

Yakuza 0, Yakuza 3 Remastered, Yakuza 4 Remastered, Yakuza Kiwami, Yakuza Kiwami 2 all were in humble choice (monthly) bundles.
Not yet bundled: Yakuza 5 Remastered, Yakuza 6: The Song of Life and Yakuza: Like a Dragon.
They are going chronological but I suspect, we will get Yakuza: Like a Dragon sooner, since it is some sort of a reboot and is getting a sequel so it will be a stronger headliner for its humble choice.

Thanks! wow to think that only 3 left....
But unlike other yakuza, like a dragon has some dlcs, I'm not sure they will bundle the legendary edition.

Once again The_Yakuza_Bundle does not take into account that you own some games. I wanted only Yakuza Kiwami 2, yet I have to pay for all..

5 and 6 will appear in HB sooner or later so hold.

I've started Yakuza 0 and man it's both great and looooooong. You have things to do for hours there :O
