Missed me? Probably not, just don't have much keys left anymore with Tremorgames been shut down, my cards for bundles, my trader stopped trading, no money left etc etc. Maybe some still remember the job woes i had, which is still going, but maybe i found a training spot (that is working together with city hall) for 3 months to get trained into doing mechanical work, which also includes having going to the gym, jobcoaching all in 1 package getting actually steamed and trained to get into a normal job, so hoping this will turn into something good for a change.

It's not certain yet but having been the only one today, there might be a good chance.

But you want to just skip ahead to the giveaways right? First i wanted to give the cat and the coup but i accidently deleted that in my excel sheet.
I can "complain" but actually still can afford something to gift. cough.

Yeah baby!

Well i wish i could agree in that it would be for everyone that it works out, some will struggle with things their whole life, trying to keep positive atleast though does might open that gate towards more positivity to come into your life rather then if you stay in the negative, even that can be hard at times, and when it's winter and it's just freezing your bones, while when it's Sunny and 20c that alone could just give more strength in facing such things, but luckily it's getting close to become spring again.

But what doesn't kill you in the end does make you stronger.

You are quite right, of course.

There are some things out of our control, but with effort and positive thoughts we have a much higher chance for happiness. Obviously a saddeningly large amount of people don't have the same privileges we enjoy (and even "we" privileged differ greatly in that category) and all the positivity they could possibly muster will not change that.

While positivity and perseverance cannot overcome everything, negativity and resignation will definitely lead to an unhappy and unfulfilled life. Hence we should always be aware of how well-off we are compared to billions of other people. And possibly, whenever we are in a position to do so, help others. In one way or another, the universe repays us (in my case simply by realising the difference every single action makes, no matter how small - and that gives me hope and joy, even in situations when all else seems dreary).

Keep your chin up!

Yesterday i was watching a documentary about people living in weird houses, one guy in rio de Janeiro lived in a sandcastle on the beach he build inside a hole there, he left his house when he was 8 after hearing from his mother that she got him picked out of the garbage, he lives of donations people give him, but that guy just loved people taking pictures with him, always smiling, most likely his situation will never change anymore but he accepted it and can find a way to be happy in that, i have big respect for such people.

Yeah and even if you don't have money you can always volunteer time, and i thought about it but just never went for it somehow (well i did some computer stuff for a year for free for a local radio station) but it's not the same as playing bingo in a retirement home.
I missed having a brother, i would want a son someday, and i wouldn't mind like being a big brother (like they have such programs in america) but don't think they really have that here. You know just play games with some kid or something, with my experiences could make me good in helping people.

Awhile ago i tried for a job that was about helping kids who had problems, guiding them a bit, no education was needed, but couldn't even get a job interview.

I hear you. I tried helping in a professional environment, but usually they go for people with experience in that field - and understandably so. So I decided to do what I feel is morally right in everyday life. Helping out others less fortunate, be it having a refugee at our place for several years now while his appeal for asylum is still being processed or something really tiny like talking to elderly people on the train when it becomes obvious they want someone to listen to. Or smiling at people and saying hi, regardless of whether they reciprocate - most of the time they do and in turn greet and smile at others and generally have a nicer day. I didn't realise how much of a difference that can make for some until some people told me how wonderful it is that I always have a smile for them. Complete strangers to me, but in this rather small town you do meet again over time.

Or that old lady in my house (94 years old by now) with whom I make it a habit to chat whenever I see her, as her daughter rarely has time to visit her. Sometimes I run "late" for work (thankfully I have now found work in a company that gives me a lot of leeway as long as I do my job well after having made some bad experiences with other companies before) because she likes to share things from her past, or some thoughts on the current situation.

It doesn't necessarily have to be a profession or anything "big" or "significant" - every little bit helps to make the world a better place for everyone around you, and seemingly insignificant actions can make big changes. And I notice just how much of it comes back to me.

As they say: Be the change you want to see in the world.

Hey Lugum,
I really like how you keep up your optimism. Yeah, changes are often difficult to handle, but sure they open the door to new exciting possibilities and that's what keeps us going. One door closes and another one opens. :)
I'm wishing you all the best for your future endeavours! <3

Hey.

Thanks it's hard at times to keep that optimism, and right now when it's still winter and just cold it's even harder then when it's Sunny and 20c, i did learn that just getting angry, sad or whatever about bills, stuff it just does not change the outcome either so why do it?
I really don't know if just staying postive though could still create positive results for anyone eventually, i hope it does, but for me atleast till now i still managed (not Always the way i wanted it to be, but i had a roof, i had food).
There were other people in similar situations, hope such words from me and others can change someone's thinking in staying positive, that it can all still work out.

Keep the faith is short and sounds maybe simple, but if you truely do, it can help you alot.

Yeah right, it's not that easy to stay positive, but it's the only reasonable way to cope with our problems, anger and frustration will only make it worse.
I really believe that a positive mentality will eventually lead to positive experiences, perhaps not automatically by an unwritten rule, but in the long run you will receive this positivity back. :)

Keep up the good spirit, and sure it's a nice thing when you're able to help others in similar rough situations by "infecting" them with optimism. :)

There is that, i dunno if i believe in that, sometimes i try to believe in it (i mean it can't hurt if you try), then it could be a bit of a "rule".
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Secret_(book)

If only we had that crystal ball so we could truely say see that positivity will lead me to all this, but alas we don't. :p

Thanks for your words. :)

I’m happy for you Lugum! I do vaguely recall your job woes and I’m stoked that’s changing. Also pretty touched that you’ve been such a constant contributor despite going through all that, that is truly awesome of you. Best of luck in everything, I know it’ll work out well for you

It's still pending if i'd be actually accepted, but since i was the only one there, is a good chance i hope.

Yeah it's been a large part of my life having had those woes because i had to drop out of school when i was 15 (did some home schooling, got certificates) i was promised false things, made some bad decisions, met colleagues it didn't click with resulted in been let go.
Really would advice anyone reading to just finish atleast your college, be it in school, be it through home schooling, the problems that can lead to it, just ain't worth it.

Will really hope this will get so stable that i'd finally could just settle down, my own place, a relationship, kids hopefully, definitely will get some good game to gift away then to celebrate. :)

Thank you.

Thank you for the kind words. :)

Yeah i would not look forward to the gym part (sweaty people, showering, maybe they even want to do some team sports)..
But i think it would definitely help get physycially stronger (i'd jog in good weather but it's been freezing and cold with little Sunshine so i haven't done that for a few months now) and maybe it's not training the parts i need to do (upper body).

Hope 2019 will be good to you too.
