For those who doesn't know, Super Star price dropped from 7.99$ to 1.99$ and developer is offering difference refund.

I received the price difference refund today in PayPal. And I've been wondering if it's possible to request the different in price if any game have a price drop. Or it's up to developer? I know that we can request refund from Steam directly if we purchase the game before the sale but this is different case I guess?

You mean try contact dev directly or Steam support? As far as I know Steam support doesn't offer partial refund.

far as i know, if you have <2 hours, you can request a refund for any reason.

if the devs want to offer a refund, thats something that happens outside of steam, and is up to the devs but shouldnt be EXPECTED.

no. this is what it sounds like
"And I've been wondering if it's possible to request the different in price if any game have a price drop."

they don't sound like they're trying to get a double refund. they just want to know if they can get the price difference refunded if this happens (probably on steam so they don't have to ask the dev to refund them)

Looking at their account, they've played it for 3.3 hours, so they couldn't get the Steam refund anyway.

You can request the refund even if you played more than 2 hours actually (2 hours is just a guideline). It's up to Steam support if he/she will accept the refund request or not.

From Steam Support page:

Refunds are typically not issued for purchases that are more than 14 days old, or have significant playtime.
