Cheapen My Build?

Hello. I'm looking to create a nice gaming computer for as cheap as possible so I can justify buying it to my parents. I'm looking to maintain at least an 8/10 Game-Debate score (links below) for each part and I'd like to know if there are cheaper alternatives to what I have.

My CPU is an AMD FX-6300 (10/10) but I don't really need 6 cores and I'd settle for an 8 or 9 if it was significantly cheaper.

My GPU is a Radeon HD 7850 (10/10, $130) but I'm also considering an Nvidia GTX-650 Ti (9/10, $90) since it saves me $40 and is almost as good.

Suggestions, anyone?
