I have about 140 WL games and got error the second time:

it didnt catched 1 name of the game in my list http://store.steampowered.com/app/268150 (Dead Island 2) i think cause its not being sold yet.
If you need any help with your code let me know/add me im a pro developer also did some things with the steam api and for the timeout problem you could fetch the list by using Ajax and in parts of f.e. 100 each time.
It could also be a flaw in your script (loops mostly give these kind of errors)
