I believe I know the answer to q2 and q3, but for some reason, ITH won't accept it.

Thanks. What sport is that from question 1? Couldn't understand a thing.
And hail Floor Jansen and her goddess-like 1,83 m and 79 kg

That's Australian rules football. In very basic terms: in the final moments of the game, the big guy caught the ball, which allowed him to have a kick without the opposition being able to tackle him. He had to kick it ~60 metres between the white sticks in order to score, and thus win the game.

Ghost Love Score is simply fu*&¨% awesome. I have loved Nightwish for years. The Nordic Metal is the best.
Thank you, pal.

Most "female operatic vocals metal" is not really my thing, but not so much for the vocals themselves as much as the overall sound (ie. over-reliance on synths and riffs that don't really do it for me), but I think we can find common ground in early Giant Squid (their later records also feature awesome melodic female vocals, but not as "operatic").

Great music, nice train, cool puzzle. Thanks :)
Oh and I should say that while I loved Tarja's voice and her very operatic style, Floor's singing really took them places they'd never been with the music.
I mean...

I've been in a bit of a grumpy mood lately, and my thoughts turned to things which cheer me up. That in turn led to an idea for a train theme - both gated by and including some of my favourite things.
My last train listed my 50 favourite games, but didn't include any in the train. This time, it features a few of my favourites; hopefully the winner will enjoy them as well.

Just three questions to answer.
The answers are readily available through a few sources, but I've linked one for each below to save you going to too much trouble. Should only take a couple of minutes at most to solve.
Question 1
I am a lifelong fan of the Sydney Swans AFL team. They went through a dismal period in the 1990s, to the point that their continued existence was in question. The recruitment of Tony "Plugger" Lockett marked a change in their fortunes, rising from the bottom-placed side in 1992-1994 to top in 1996. To get to the 1996 Grand Final, though, they had to overcome Essendon in the Preliminary Final. With a minute to go, scores were tied. It all comes down to Plugger. The final minute of the game will answer question 1
Question 2
I have also been a life-long Star Trek fan, from The Original Series to Discovery. A show featuring the return of Captain Picard is coming later this year. This legendary scene from Star Trek: First Contact answers question 2.
Question 3
When I was very young, I loved opera (weird kid, I know). That evolved over the years to a love of metal with operatic female vocalists. Within Temptation, Epica, Delain, Tarja, Lacuna Coil, Nightwish… It's a tough call, but my favourite song is probably this version of Ghost Love Score, which will answer question 3.
Good luck!
