Simple, but personal way of gating a train. I own most of the things I want in it, but still gonna bump anyways. :D

I've been in a bit of a grumpy mood lately, and my thoughts turned to things which cheer me up. That in turn led to an idea for a train theme - both gated by and including some of my favourite things.
My last train listed my 50 favourite games, but didn't include any in the train. This time, it features a few of my favourites; hopefully the winner will enjoy them as well.
The gateway is here - http://www.itstoohard.com/puzzle/OZzbRFXq
Just three questions to answer.
The answers are readily available through a few sources, but I've linked one for each below to save you going to too much trouble. Should only take a couple of minutes at most to solve.
Question 1
I am a lifelong fan of the Sydney Swans AFL team. They went through a dismal period in the 1990s, to the point that their continued existence was in question. The recruitment of Tony "Plugger" Lockett marked a change in their fortunes, rising from the bottom-placed side in 1992-1994 to top in 1996. To get to the 1996 Grand Final, though, they had to overcome Essendon in the Preliminary Final. With a minute to go, scores were tied. It all comes down to Plugger. The final minute of the game will answer question 1
Question 2
I have also been a life-long Star Trek fan, from The Original Series to Discovery. A show featuring the return of Captain Picard is coming later this year. This legendary scene from Star Trek: First Contact answers question 2.
Question 3
When I was very young, I loved opera (weird kid, I know). That evolved over the years to a love of metal with operatic female vocalists. Within Temptation, Epica, Delain, Tarja, Lacuna Coil, Nightwish… It's a tough call, but my favourite song is probably this version of Ghost Love Score, which will answer question 3.
Good luck!
