Fake give away, oh man =\

So i'm talking about this giveaway

I won it and the guy is online in steam and I sent him a friend request so I can tell him how greatful I am

I really was happy to see that I've won this giveaway

Called my buds and told them how great this site is and now I see that the giveaway was a big fake heres why

1.The guy ignored me and blocked me
2.He doesn't even own the game.
3.It been like 1 day and he still did not give me the game even tho I see him playing games and everything

What should I do?

You have to wait at least 1 week before the giveaway is considered 'abandoned'. So far it's only been a day. Wait a few more and see how it goes. If not then cilck the "Support" button and submit a ticket

  1. He is not required to be your friend just because you won a game from him. Adding the giveaway creator as a friend is an old scammer trick in which they pretend to be the winner.

  2. You can giveaway a game you don't own.

  3. You are supposed to wait at least a week for them to give you the game

Also it is against the rules to call someone out on the forums. If you really wanted help with this issue you should have contacted a mod.

I'm not saying this giveaway isn't fake, I have no idea. But you haven't followed the rules and procedures of this site...
