Lol, can't vote :). Anyway I have the game on GOG and finished it. If 2.0 comes out I'll probably pick up the expansion and play that... Anyway it's a great game with a lot of replay value, so it doesn't matters imho if you wait or start playing now.

anyone know about how much the expansion will be? considering the base game's low balls edition being sold for 40+€/$ I suppose the DLC won't be a bargain either.

Finished it and it was the greatest game I played in years - GO PLAY IT NOW!!! :D: 2.0 won't change much storywise, your saves will be usable as well, so you may as well start now, if you don't end before 2.0 you will finish in 2.0 :>

Wait. Unless you spent hundreds of hours on old IE games, the utter lack of basic party AI will drive you nuts. The balance is also a little off even to this day, and the patch will address that to a degree.

I started playing it. Love this type of game. Hit some major snags early on (buildup over hours of play) that made it evident the game wasn't done. Waiting for them to be "done" with the game before I play again.

I'm trying to play the Baldur's Gate games first, so I'm going with wait xD at least I won't feel so alone, so letdown :D

Man PoE is awesome, I'd just start playing right now, I think it's version 1.4 or 1.6 or something now, so far I haven't encountered much problems with this version. I waited since release for the game to be playable, load times were 20 sec+ at the release for me :<
