we get that you are upset & want to keep community clean but there's nothing much you can do on steamgifts forums except giving him -rep n support ticket..

yeah all you can do is contact police,you wont get any real help here cause nobody here can help...I wouldnt count on steam aswell,so hope you got some records of the trade.

What I understood from your explanation is that the scammer has charged back a purchased gift he sent you. In this kind of scam you have absolutely no way of knowing that the person is scamming you, because you have no way to know if someone will charge back the purchase of a gift or not.

Obviously they are putting their account on the line, so they'll always be using a trash account with few games and low level, but in the end, if this happens to you, you should contact Steam Support to see if they can reverse the trade, they might be able to identify you were given in a trade a gift that was charged back - and then, the trade would be reversed (and you would get your stuff back).

Dont do big trades with people with little or no rep.
