I'm sure it will be retroactively bundled soon enough.

It falls under the bundled category? I thought only bundled games and games with high steam discounts do.

I guess this counts as "high discount".
EDIT: it seems it was removed from the giveaway list.

I'm pretty sure stuff has been added to the bundled list for having a discount over 95% on places other than Steam before, and it's being reported that these keys are being sold on g2a for a penny. Although I'm starting to see a lot of the giveaways deleted for 'Beta Key, Guest Pass, or Free Game' - so it looks like something else may be going on instead.

Yeah, it appears that giveaways can no longer be created for the game. So for whatever reason the mods now consider it to be too exploited for giveaways.

Sometimes, games go for "virtually free" or there's a price glitch equivalent to that. In such cases, the giveaways are simply removed (i.e. deleted) from SG.

You are thinking too hard about this. For you, it's all the same (hence the "i.e. deleted" comment).

While you're at it with the explaining thingy - Mullins posted a screenshot a while back of a label saying "Banned" instead of "Suspended" with "Permanent" below it. Does this banning exist? And if so who gets banned for doing what? I wondered ever since...

I'm not sure. I think being Banned is actually more "permanent" than a permanent suspension, and I suspect that only CG (and perhaps Rinarin) can do it.

It doesn't mean you made something so bad that a permanent suspension isn't enough. Being banned means that you can no longer contact support, it is used when a permanently suspended user keeps spamming tickets. Only cg can do it and it's very rarely needed, there are ~50 users banned I believe.

I just checked, and a while I could not find Avalon at that price, I found several other "free" games at similar price points, so it's likely that they figure that with enough sales, they'll make a modest profit, with no real risks involved.
And if you dispute a payment, don't you run the risk of vendors blacklisting you?

I've opened two disputes on G2A, one for a duplicate key and one for an invalid key (CD DRM key, not usable on Steam). G2A refunded both of them, even without "shield". A third one was fixed by the seller themselves. So, no unresolved disputes in >200 keys.

They removed even the ongoing ones with 1, 2 hours left. Haven't seen anything like this.

True, but you can buy up to 5 copies with a single purchase and the processing fee doesn't stack up.

Ah, so that's where they're from - I thought they'd be from that monthly subscription thing, IGN Prime or whatever it was. Wish I'd known they were going to kill the giveaways, I would have kept my points out!

There hasn't been anew game through IGN Prime for the last two/three months now

Thanks for the info - I don't follow it generally and I'm not a member. The last one through looked really interesting, though I didn't win any.

its like some random people trying to get an advantage on a website about gifts from a gaming platform. totally not worth to get mad about it, unless they break any rules.

I just bought 15 of those... I don't know why. They were just soooo cheap. I don't care much for 18 cents :D
But the game is so deep in the early access stage that I don't see it becoming a full game in the near future (and I am pretty sure that if you don't have a good GPU and a lot of RAM it's also unplayable)

That whole one-cent thing is suspicious as hell in itself. G2A takes 15 or 30 cents off from each key sold (cannot recall the exact amount), so selling for 1 cent means the seller was going into debt with each purchase. Not to mention it is a new account with 0% fedback, and only this one account selling the keys.
Smells like stolen or leaked keys.

So I imagine most of you have noticed that Avalon Lords: Dawn Rises became a very popular choice for giveaway makers. No wonder when it goes for a penny (literally) on g2a and has a CV of 20. Am I the only one that finds this super unethical?? I don't know why it makes me so mad that I have to make a thread about it but it just does.
