One of my favorite sources for the games to give away, but I must resist now, before my monthly budget is gone D=

Quick question for those who may know : is there any limitation to Mac OS for the steam keys delivered at macgamestore ?

Fact is that I saw a game at wingamestore at full price and same game at macgamestore is -80% for black friday/Cyber monday sales. Both are indicated as steam keys so no need to pay full price if I can buy it at -80%. Yet, I wonder if somehow the steam key won't work for my Windows PC in case I purchase it at macgamestore...

Steam doesn't differ between Windows, Mac or Linux ownership. If you own the game, you own all supported OS versions.

OK, that's what I thought. Thank you for confirmation.

Yet I'm not sure I can get the steam key as the website indicates some Mac app to use to get reveal steam key... https://macgamestore.desk.com/customer/en/portal/articles/784695-activating-a-game-on-steam

I'll search for a deal elsewhere I think, it will be safer. :-/

Don't be silly, those are general instructions on how to activate on any platform. Don't be put off, there's no "special instructions" for Mac.

ALSO< those instructions are from 4 years ago, the process has changed somewhat from that ;-)

Well, first part is "launch MacGameStore App" so I am not sure I can get steam key on the website without using that Mac app, as I never used that website for a purchase before.

There's a "My Games" page that lists all your Steam keys.

If you bought anything from WinGameStore you will also see it there since it's basically a second frontend for the same store.

OK thank you, but then I don't understand the price difference between the 2 front ends. :-o
Anyway I got a better deal for same game I was intersting in at Fanatical, I'll keep all those information in mind for another sale event. ;-)

Gonna push this higher, as there are some really good sale right now. XCOM 2 has an 87% discount (8USD), Evil Within 2 is 14USD, Fallout 4 GOTY is 14.84 USD, Age of Wonders 3 Collection is 8 USD, Battletech is 25USD, civilization 6 Deluxe is 17USD, Mafia 3 Deluxe 15USD.

Just a few examples. You could probably find more great deals.

I see F4: GOTY as 16.84...which is still pretty great.
Also, Bioshock Collection is 10.60. Which is .10 cents above historical low from 2016 :0

There's also 5% off coupons that one could use: PCGAMES5OFF & MACGAMES5OFF
(Not usable on all games - can only be used once, apparently.)

https://www.wingamestore.com/product/6206/Aragami/ - $4.75 (76% off)
https://www.wingamestore.com/product/3295/realMyst-Masterpiece-Edition/ - $4.49 (75% off)
