Humble Civilization Bundle

Let's keep this civil. Civilization is upon us! Humble's bringing you a whole bundleful of it, from III to Beyond Earth. There's also a coupon for 20% off Sid Meier’s Civilization® VI and another coupon for 25% off Sid Meier’s Civilization® VI Digital Deluxe, so you can be fully set up for the upcoming DLC. P.S. We're not saying watch out for Gandhi, but watch out for Gandhi.

Please note I'm not as efficient as MilleW when it comes to bundle threads. I need to fix a couple of things on the chart, add some extra information and all the flipping notes regarding Humble's flip ups.

Lowest BTA: $4.04 (?)

This script enhances the charts by showing you which games you already own from the ones in it. If you own it, the row will be highlighted with a green color.

Thanks to MilleW for the heads up and to Sighery for making our lives easier with each update of his charting tools.

Handling your wallet to Humble Bundle today?

Yes, $1 for them.
Yes! I'm BTA!
YEAH!! TIER3!!! SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!!!!!
I'm not sure yet, I have to check if my wallet still has something in it...
No. I'm not giving my money to those communist millionaires.
I see millions of repeats...
I'm broke. Please stop this bundled madness!!

The new bundle is not appealing to me, and that's just great. I already spent more than $45 this month on bundles (an all time record for me). I don't want to add to it...

The most unexpedted bump I've ever seen. 8 months... wow.

Since then I got Civ:BE for ~3$ - if you can find it cheap, buy it. It's different, but I liked it. Rising Tide too, but the new Diplomacy system sucked.

Yes. If you refresh you will get a new price so don't refresh. Also, if you make a mistake with your purchase it will do a refresh so be careful.

Yup. as long as you won't refresh you will have to pay 4.05 for BTA.

Just make sure your browser doesn't have "auto-refresh" option.

Civ5 + Brave New World is worth it for sure, even without rest of DLC.

And from what I see, if you use whole BTA content you will have Complete Edition.

2k locks all their games, even if you buy from international stores, like HB. I wanted to give Xcom 2 from the last humble monthly to an american friend, but my game was region-locked to Brazil... It makes no fucking sense to me....

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Luckily they don't follow the normal Steam region locking as it would lock the games to 1 country for me :(

Permalink

well, at least they don't do that bullshit in your country. Meanwhile a have a brazil-only copy of x-com 2. Guess I'll learn to play x-com. xD

Civ V base game is region locked for me, but the DLCs aren't. What kind of brilliant idea is this? Not that I care, it's all readily available in the Steam store for purchase and I already have everything anyway. Still a mystifying decision.

See the attached image. I mean the base game won't even be provided to me should I buy the bundle, but I'll get the DLCs for it--and only the DLCs. (Not talking about the region restrictions of the keys themselves).

Looking at the marked items, it's probably just their way of indicating DLC as opposed to a standalone game. Now that you mention it, it's a pretty idiotic choice for an icon here, so generic and nondescript in this context they might as well have chosen an ice cream cone or a pigeon. (-‸ლ)

A little update: I contacted Humble Support on Twitter to ask if they were aware of this absurd situation and just got the bog-standard "we apologize for the inconvenience" PR-speak. I made sure to make my thoughts known but I guess that's all I'm gonna get from them.
