Ebay is trustworthy. But the sellers aren't always trustworthy. You must check their reputation first. :/ Also, you should check the description of the item really well before buying it.

Ebay does not allow the sale of digital goods, PayPal too voids the sellers protection.

That's only true if you send them the file digitally. If you sell a code, write it on paper, and ship it via the regular mail with tracking info, it's protected. Basically as long as you ship something you're fine.
