Might get lost in the Fear3 weekend stuff so I think it was worth mentioning.

I'd say yes, It's pretty neat, wouldn't buy it for full price but discounted? Yes.
If you want a game just to relax or letting your little kids play, I recommend you get it.

I got SPAZ in a Humble Bundle, and I would absolutely recommend it at the current price. The game is far more addicting than I could have possibly imagined.

Are you sure you got SPAZ in a Humble Bundle? I have all of them and SPAZ was never part of them as far as I remember. Are you thinking about GSB maybe?

IF you like both games you may even want to check out Starfarer wich has more strategy elements then SPAZ but still lets you fly your own ships.
