Dark Souls: I can't stand the community and mentality around it. I still want to try it some day, but I swear the people worshipping the game are something else.
On the other hand not really a game (I know, but I want to get this off my chest), but a part of it: international pro scenes/esports. I swear once a game has any esports tournament/coverage around it, it's community turns into a bunch of no fun allowed, solo rushing "I am better than everyone else" grumpy Rambo wannabees (thinking of CSGO here) who think they are the next S1mple. Plus, those tournaments are almost always full of 322 (word for manipulating odds by intentionally losing) match quackery and Heroic-level unnoticed cheats, combined with an organization that is supposed to combat these things but is too chicken to actually punish the players with more than a wrist slap lest the whole scene collapse. I don't bet at all on these things, but I highly doubt these two cases were one of the kind.
I am not against competitive gameplay at all, but it does need calm and patient players and not the delusional, hyper aggressive kind. Sadly, these people exist even in the casual modes.

The game itself breed a different kind of players and I've seen multiple complains about the aggressive attitude some of them have towards non-hardcore players.

This is true, a lot of games have became a job more than entertainment and although this raised a lot of possibilities, it's not anymore the same as it used to be. Some games are no fun anymore!

Neither am I to be fair.

Now, this may spark a bit of dispute, but I want you to be respectful when you write this. There might be people that actually like the game. This is your opinion, but that does not mean others does not appreciate the game.
What GAME - you can only name one - you wish it never existed and name what's the reason behind it.
