I like candy. So much it's unhealthy. Anyway, since I'm in a period when I don't eat candy, I got myself roasted hazelnuts and snack on them whenever I feel that I "need" something... but I never buy too much, 100-200 g a week, because they are nature's candy too.

I generally prefer to eat fruits or vegetables as a snack. If you just want a bite, you can always eat a simple biscuit (I prefer biscuits with cocoa or rarely with dark chocolate). I also eat strained yogurt and high protein yogurt dessert. I used to eat rice pudding too, but I think it was kinda useless. I may sometimes eat some dark chocolate too, but that's not really a snack.

Sometimes chips, but apple, banana, carrots, celery works really well. it's super easy to mix up a joghurt-dip for the vegetables with herbs and spices of your preference - with cool, spicy-tasty joghurt and crispy vegetables it's a great substitute of commercial salty snacks.
For sweets, I still have trouble finding something that works. Some muesli with milk and honey works pretty nicely, but may be a bit too filling to eat it as a snack.

I can eat a bowl of cereal easily anytime I feel like snacking

It's not really a snack, but I chew gum frequently when I get cravings for a snack. I'm trying to watch what I eat and failing pretty miserably usually, so it's convenient to have something with some flavor if I want something... though I'm pretty partial to anything chocolate that isn't cheap milk chocolate. Pretzels (both the hard kinds you can find in many varieties in bags similar to chips and the fresh soft kind) are my salty go-to snack.

Right now it's practically anything sweet or salty that isn't nailed down, but I'm under a lot of stress at the moment. Cookies, chips, this guava and this lychee hard candy...
You seem to be more of a healthy eater though, so I kind of second Nask0 with the grapefruit. Those small mandarin oranges and the like are great too. Or kiwi. Though if you can find cherimoyas and they're not hideously expensive, you might not go back to apples...

mini pastries, Indomie Pop Mie cup noodles, chips, nuts, etc
The list can go on and on but those things are usually my main choices (Yeah I know they're unhealthy AF but, eh? XDDD)

I'm trying to think up some random snack to have. I've been mainly having apples as snacks because they're filling. Welp, I'm running out of apples and becoming a tad tired of having just apples as a snack.
What do you make to snack on when it's not near meal time?
