I agree that it's pointless to act so hostile over the potential loss of some mere SG points but this case wasn't 'normal'. He clearly had the intention to leave the impression of a troll, so it's not really surprising that several fell for it and reacted as intended. Ironic is that they didn't register that he was trying a bit too hard. ;)

It is unfortunate that I was not able to login for a week. I could not clear the suspicion in time so it led to all this chaos. I don't blame users for being suspicious, I would have done the same thing if I was in other users shoes. Unfortunately I had my skepticism of the site also in the beginning so I mistakenly chose a username that might not have been the best choice. All in all I did not leave a good impression and it is fine. I just want to casually share games and the love for gaming with the community from time to time and I will do that.

You are correct with what you write.
And i know more about the user, that i will not write here. Let's sum it up as "positive", to give a general direction.
But to be fair, the user push the people in that direction with his old meme/troll avatar, AAA GAs that ended on 1st April, descriptions about that he will be happy to win the games (that he give away), now a troll game and the text about his first GA.
I don't get why he provoke the "calling out" or in general "negative" comments/reactions (he known and know exactly the result).
Unneeded stress, from my point of view.
And the ones that got suspended because of their comments (if earned or not) were users with not much entered GAs (compared with their time on sg) or, normaly/mostly, positive acting sg users.
So it hit, more or less, the wrong ones.
I am not sure that it have a other effect as that lesser real users write comments and are involved on sg, which let than the autojoiner comments be a bigger part as now (and it is already horrible with the autojoiner comments...).
All in all.... uncool/not cool.

I think the third winner have me blocked on steam :(. I tried adding the person to friend list so I can send the game to the winner. The winner can block me after they receive the game if they want but if I am not able to get in touch with them, there is really nothing I can do for the time being. Hopefully in the next few days I be able to get in contact with the winner. I only been here for 1 week so I don't know the features and rules too well. Thanks for letting me know.

Nicely put. I will definitely put some consideration into renaming my username when I can. Maybe I will include the word student in my username but I am more of a casual hen on a treadmill than a student. We will see. I do have some time to think about it, 3 weeks or so before I can do a name change. Going to go do some self reflection.

I honestly regret that I put my 50 points in re4 remake giveaway... Learned later that they removed all pantyshots in that remake. That game goes straight to my hidden games list!
