can it lead in account suspension or restriction?

For me it did not work in "responsive" mode on Edge, I had to go for a tiny-screen phone to get the correct design that insta-claims the game.
It's visible in UPlay immediately then.

hmm, said it was added to my library, but when i load up uplay, it isn't there.

Got it, but when I go to store page of Far Cry 3 it doesn't say I own the game

If the web site tells you all is well and you have claimed the game always re-check in your Uplay client if the game is actually added to your account.

In the past many users had issues with web browsers claiming a game. I advise to use your cell phone as this method is actually working.
