Dude, you've got nothing to say sorry about! Thanks for Cheburashka, he (it? I'm not sure it even has gender) is awesome, both my 6-year-old niece and I love the the little guy :)

Happy Birthday!
I don't own a vr set myself, so I'm not an expert or anything, but Abode and Conductor look lile a nice games (I have them in my wishlist). Surprisingly, there are also quite a few free VR titles on Steam, such as this, so you might want to search through VR & free to play cateogory combo on Steam store.

Thank you! I already have Abode wishlisted, added Conductor to my wishlist as well. And thanks for the tip about free titles!

Happy birthday and thanks for sharing! Not much from recommendations here, I tried to get into VR but put it on hiatus until I graduate and get a job :p

Dude, Index costs $1000, that's so much out of my price range (and Oculus is only $300). Also, I've already ordered it. Also, I don't mind Facebook.

I don't really use my account except for following some people, so I'm pretty sure I'm safe.

I have a Rift so I can't really comment on Quest games but if you're going to be using the Link cable and can run it I'd suggest No Man's Sky. It's poorly optimized though, my 1080ti can only use medium graphics, and that's sometimes a struggle. Budget Cuts (the first more so than the second) is another good option, and Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice is amazing in VR, though the controllers basically act as normal controllers. My all time favourite which I highly recommend is I Expect You To Die.
Others worth checking out:
Journey For Elysium
Arizona Sunshine
Boneworks
The Invisible Hours
Psychonauts in the Rhombus of Ruin
The Talos Principle

As far as I understand, I should have no issues running these games on Quest (and yes, I've ordered a cable, just not the official one, it's way too overpriced). Hellblade is one of my all-time favourites, so yeah, definitely will play it in VR. Thanks for all the recommendations! Added Psychonauts to my wishlist (already have everything else either there or in my library).

So, I've got a year older today, happens to the best of us. There's nothing to do about that. What I can do, however, is gift something nice to beautiful people of SG, so here are some GAs. Quality might be all over the place, but there are some real gems inside as well (for example, I'd strongly recommend Detective Di and OPUS to everyone interested in adventure games). All GAs are level 3.
While we are that, I've decided to finally get a VR headset (Oculus Quest 2, of course). I would be grateful for game recommendations (just please, no anime, racing or anything physically exhausting).
Edit: wow, guys! I've just realized that I'll be physically unable to answer this number of congratulations, so thank you all from the bottom of my heart!
