Never heard of DYA games, but thanks to you, I'm now going to avoid them like a meth addict avoids a rehab center.

I'm now going to avoid them
Why? All 3 their games are cheap and good, so please explain

Yes, these are cheap games. But that's not the issue, it's about the practice they seem to be doing frequently. I bet unaware customers keep falling for it as soon as they see a "big discount" which today (Sept. 13) for example, if you would buy the collection bundle, it would cost much more than the usual price it has for the most time in the year. See what I mean: https://www.steamgifts.com/go/comment/MdRArfc

Huh, I haven't noticed this before.I really enjoy all of their games, so seeing this is quite disheartening.

Interesting. But what about the others? Their original price for each game is CLP$ 600, but for Strikey Sister for example, it has been increased up to CLP$ 1000 during the sales (and reduced over that), and later increased to CLP$ 1500 and two days later it's CLP$ 2400 (4X the original price, and the other it's almost 3X the original price). It's really weird, if you ask me... :P
But the effect can be seen in the price of the bundle: They've increased the discount, but at the same time the final price has become more expensive after every change.

I guess they have figured out ways around Steam's price change limitations (max every 2 months, can't discount for 30 days after increase).
Seems like good way to get thrown out, if someone posted this on reddit.
Edit: Maybe it's one month only, they seem to change every month or so...

( I'm just reposting this here because my thread on Steam asking could be deleted (I wouldn't be surprised), and also would like to know what you guys think about it. )

Honest question: Why DYA Games keeps doing that?
The first time I noticed this was during some sales this year. I remembered some of their prices from before when not on sale, but during the sales the base prices were higher. At first I thought I was wrong, but then I noticed this again later in the next big Steam sale. So I decided to take screenshots just in case, and... I was right, Dya Games change their base prices at certain periods:
This screenshot was taken early on 2018-07-05, before the big sale on Steam ended (base prices were higher):

This one was taken late on 2018-07-05 in the night, after the big sale ended (base prices were reduced to the usual prices, mostly):

After that I forgot about it, but two months later I noticed this again on 2018-09-11 (prices were increased again):

And just two days later after that, today on 2018-09-13 (prices were increased again over the previous increase):

To be honest, I found this very serious, and dishonest to all customers. What's the idea, to increase the prices before a big sale so they wouldn't actually change during the sale? I don't get it. This is very suspicious...
For those who know how to use it, many of these changes can also be seen on SteamDB.
