2nd time in 1week i've read someone having issues with the ati legacy driver package and idk if the other user ever got it resolved, but my suggestion to them was to use the crimson beta driver package option instead of the legacy catalyst driver option. most people don't even realize there is that second option at the end of amds driver selection.

Hello everyone, just upgraded my 5970 to 7850, installed newest driver and not a single game which starts in fulscreen works. Csgo shows no image just hangs up in task manager, same goes for heroes of might and magic V (image of loading is shown however), world of tanks just starts and closes instantly after pressing start (no error message, no nothing), bioshock is not respoinding. Witcher 3 works fine since it launches in windowed mode by default, after switching to fulscreen it minimizes itself and i can't bring it back up........ note that all of these games (except for witcher 3 ) worked fine today with my 5970 before upgrade. Any suggestions guys? thanks
