Hi everyone,

I’m building PlayQuest, a platform where you can:

  • Play free Steam demos
  • Complete quests & give feedback
  • Earn coins to redeem Steam keys (raffles or drops)

Not sure if this is allowed but I think one of the rules on here is no giveaways which require you to do something other than just click to join - plus I don't know how many wold enter when they can enter giveaways on here in one minute

What that rule means is, you cant ask people to do extra stuff to enter GAs hosted right here on SG.

OP here is advertising something off the SG, totally unrelated to giveaways here, so at most the question is - can you advertise something like this on the forum at all.

Thank you both for the comments. Yeah my hope is to invite gamers to check out my website and feedback. I just confirmed the forum guideline, and my understanding is that I can promote under the User Projects category, so I modified the post.

If this still doesn't look proper, mods please let me know and I’ll adjust.

I remember that the guy that runs Pantaloon originally made a post here promoting his site back when it launched and the post got closed by support, Pantaloon also runs outside of SG and the only actual requirement in order to participate in its giveaways is to subscribe to a mailing list, so I wouldn't be so sure that this is 100% in the clear.

Thanks! Yeah we hope to help players discover cool games, and help developers to gain more visibility.
We support all sorts of games on Steam -- demo, free and paid.
All the games you see are hand picked by us, and currently they are all demos as we assume they'd need visibility the most for now.
