I will the moment I can get money. The Facebook game was amazingly funny.

+infinity! :D I've been dying to try the older versions since I played Jellyvision's browser-based version way back in 2009, and it's nice to finally be able to get them without paying S&H for physical copies.

they have! on facebook and iOS/Android.

If I remember right 1 game per day is free to play, if you want to play more on that specific day you have to pay a little fee.

I have no idea, but I just checked Steam and saw that the first games are finally available here, so thanks for making me check :D

Turns out THQ's passing wasn't that bad in every aspect :P.

Well, I never shed a tear because of THQ, but from reading the community hubs it seems like these versions are the English-only versions :(
Well I still have the original around here. Somewhere under a pile of CDs...

There were very few localizations of that game and also a very small range of games for them.

Also I remember the german localizations were being completely remade by a german developer, so the rights to them might not even be available anymore or something!

One of the most underrated game series ever. I was constantly in tears with every game they made. Too bad the series doesn't seem to get continued.

Well joy and happiness is an emotion but I wouldn't call it emotional. Just very funny.

Love YDKJ and am stoked to have it finally on Steam! ...But I'll still wait for a sale, just because I'm poor and that'd be smart. Also, 5th Dementia is notably missing (there are a few other smaller installments missing too), but that's probably because it had an online component and it doesn't sound like they adjusted any code for these releases. e.g. Fullscreen means a smaller original-res game view with big black borders on the sides if your monitor is in a higher resolution, and if my suspicion is correct that the older games were made with Macromedia Director, true scaling fullscreen is pretty unlikely to happen (there were a few add-on API workarounds, but having spent 3-4 years programming in Director, I know all too well how problematic it is to get a proper fullscreen implementation going).

Anyway... from the forums, it sounds like it's English-only so far, but a lot of people are asking for the other language versions of the first ones, especially German. Hopefully Jellyvision will hear them out, since the voice acting is such a huge part of the game.
