I doubt anyone will ever really come into such a situation but it made me curious. Let's assume the following situation: I made a publich giveaway for some game and was then disappointed by the winner for some reason. I sent the game but decide that future giveaways for said game will be behind some kind of puzzle or whitelist or forum task, whatever. So with this I make (over the time) eight other giveaways for this very same game and due to those crazy entry conditions they always have less then 5 entries. Now I make a 10th giveaway for said game.

TL/DR: So my question is, will the CV decrease function for multiple copies (more than 5) still take effect even if I got no CV for almost all other giveaways before?

Naturally, I would assume yes. Has anyone actually ever been in such a situation? Seems a bit to absurd for me.

My assumption is that, less than 5 entries means that the giveaway isn't considered as "completed" and doesn't give any CV therefore doesn't count in the decrease of CV. I have no idea though, I've never seen anything about this.

:checks:

I got $7.5 for my first 5 copies of Time Mysteries 2 ($1.5 each).
$0 for the 2 copies that didn't meet minimum entries.
Then $1.35 for my final 8th copy. (1.5*.9=1.35)

Thus, I can confirm that giveaways that don't meet minimum entries don't count toward CV reduction. :)

Where did you get the data from that the 8th copy gave $1,35? From SGTools? If so then it is possible that the developer from SGTools has chosen the wrong formula. Although if your real CV from the site is identical with the real CV from SGTools it would count as confirmation. Then again there is no other chance to check your real CV then SGTools.
