VAC banned steam account with more than 100$ worth of games for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive

Already been suspended for another thread just like this (with reactions from the SG community just like in this one).

That's what OP gets for playing with VAC bans.

You know, I have a VAC banned account. I made an account back when steam first went live, and I played on it ocasionally (this was before steam was a boss like it is now). Then I joined the armed forces, and went out to defend freedom and democracy around the world. Meanwhile, my brother's computer died back home, so he went ahead and plugged mine back in. When I came back home as a honorably discharged disabled vetran after giving much for the benefit of everyone who would not, or could not, I found that he had done what silly children sometimes do, and the VAC ban was in place. That's why my current account has no "years of service" badge on it.

I still use the old account occasionally, mostly to let my daughter play torchlight on. But I remember quite vivdly how terrible it felt to know that I had been branded a cheater for something not my doing, and finding that there is no way on god's green earth, even with provided documentation that it could not have possibly been me on my account, to bring the account back to good standing.

I hope karma isn't as savage as you seem to think, for your sake. Going off on people like you did above without knowing anything about them or their situation might pay some steep dividends otherwise.

Just something to think about.

I am vac banned on MW2 also, but i can play all my other vac games without problem.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

VAC is enabled on all multiplayer servers, public and private. Any modifications to the game other than editing config files can result in a VAC ban. Examples of such modifications include but are not limited to console enablers, VAC disablers, and server hosting mods.

A VAC ban in Modern Warfare 2 only affects Modern Warfare 2.

A lot of games on Steam use VAC, it's not limited to Valve games only, Killing Floor, for instance, has VAC.

On the other hand, quasarballz has been very active in the community (more comments than entries, 81 giveaways totalling almost $650, with a 100% gift record), isn't VAC banned, and doesn't attempt to violate both the Steam Terms of Service and SteamGifts' rules.
