Pretty sure it's a feature, just like GMG, where one day they changed nice $ prices into stupid overpriced £ prices - stopped using GMG after that, until they brought playfire. And in that moment it was a better deal, because rewards were 1=1, but game prices are usually lower in £ then in $ or €, so I had to make less achievements to buy games.

It should display your local currency on the website itself. When you go to checkout however, it will change to £, because Bundle Stars takes its payments in pounds. It should be automatically converted by whatever payment choice you are using.

Their new web site is all screwed up. It will be awhile before they work out all the bugs and get things the way they should be.

I always use a VPN to buy bundles since I won't accept to pay more money than others just because I live in a different country. After deactivating the VPN, the foreign prices stay for a few days.. so you might have done the same.

Actually in theory it is good yet more and more reps of those legit sites admit on Reddit that they send keys depending on your IP to avoid activation problems for games such Metro Redux which has many regions.
So if you VPN to a totally different region and get an activation problem, after checking their logs they may or may not rectify the situation.
Just be careful.

Thanks for the heads-up, but I actually prefer international versions of games since German versions tend to be censored, which I do not approve of.

Sorry for bump but here's Bundlestars rep saying it himself what I've told:

Teething problems? The website's been around for quite a while, I thought they would have a full set of teeth by now.
P.S. Working as expected for me: £ from home, € or $ from work.

the problem is with the VAT they add. forget the currency exange rate.
like here, 18% VAT. so it should cost less for you, since you are not British.
in theory, up to a specific amount you should pay the VAT here after purchase, but you usually don't go over it, and i don't think is GOV are smart enough to deal with online goods ;)

I noticed the currency problem yesterday too. I always buy from there in dollars, yesterday everything changed to pounds. I asked to Customer Support and this in the reply I received:
Hello
Thanks for getting in touch with us about this.
We're having a few teething problems with the new site, including some customers seeing currencies inappropriate to their location. We're working through the issues as quickly as possible, please bear with us for (I hope) a short while.
Regards

It seems to be a problem they're aware of, and working on it.

Bundlestars changed my currency to GBP(£) from USD($). Both of them are not my native currency but I don't like to pay more For eg: I can buy killer bundle 5 for $4.99 before the currency change. After the change I need to pay £3.69($5.71) for the same bundle. I want my USD back :(

I'm getting pounds (£) and not Dollars or Euro. i'm not in the UK, or anywhere near it...
what do you get?
does someone know how to fix it?
http://www.bundlestars.com/
Update: i already got a reply from support. they wanted to know my IP, and said they have " a few teething problems" :)
Update2: Bundlestars identify me as unknown. all unknowns are defaulted with GBP and VAT. that's stupid.
checked other online sites, they are fine, and identify me correctly :(
Update666: bundlestars currency works fine for me. if anyone else has issues, feel free to post, and contact their support.
