mobile gamers.... smartphone reccomendations?

Hi guys, so i need a lot of help here. I really need a new phone as having to reset weekly is a pain in the butt, never mind the fact half the functions are temperamental at best. currently have Samsung note 2. If you have any suggestions that would be amazing as my brain just can't figure out what's good or bad spec at the moment.

Need it to:
play games like tapped out and family guy
have wifi
preferably android and around the 5" or bigger screen size
camera for occasion holiday pics but doesn't need to be anything special.
no budget but the cheaper the better maybe around the £300 / $500 mark would be the top end of affordable

I have a G3 and I like it so far, I've only had it for 6 months tho, it seems like all my smartphones and my friends phones get messed up once we've had them for year or so.

Nexus 5 is a great smartphone btw.

No idea on specs at all but I have an LG Volt and it ran those games just fine. I haven't had any problems. Battery life is decent. Right now it lasts a day with me playing games for 2 hours on average and being on the internet for about 1 and occasional texts/communicating

my crappy alcatel one touch can play those and it's 100$ though I wouldn't recmomend it, I really need to get a new phone. I was thinking a galaxy.

if you travel check the news on region locks i've been told they don't work out with the country you buy it in for s4 onwards. but not sure if they fixed it.

Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is what I have, but I dont really game on it except for Fantasica and occasionally Hearthstone.

Galaxy S5 should do the trick imo, have one and i am totally happy with its gaming and general performance.
