It's an interesting blend of tower defense strategy plus third-person action genres. I preferred the strategy aspects of it more than the action parts, which unfortunately I found to be a little sloppy in terms of execution. I really loved the atmosphere of the game though, being all small cabin in the woods, French-Canadian lumberjacky, and as someone mentioned above the music is fantastic. The cutscene dialogue and voice acting is obscenely bad, but it's terrible enough that if you have a sense of humor could be considered so-bad-it's-good.

Claim on its game page
Edit: There might be regional issues for some people, where it would require payment with real money and that exact amount would then be refunded to your GOG wallet. It was completely free for me though - no money involved whatsoever! It's also possible that the region thing is just a bug and it will get fixed soon.
It's also permanently free on Steam, but the annoying part there is that it doesn't stay in your game list, if it's not installed (like any other Free-to-Play game).
