i think mixing roguelike dungeoncrawler like with PvPvE is a good idea.

https://store.steampowered.com/app/2112170/Bravehood/

You enter to a dungeon and you can invade other teams. You need to build your team strategy. Like healers, mages, warriors. And excecute the strategy as a team. We are planning to add a chamaleon relic, so people can transform into objects and hide. And excecute the other team.

what do you think? Please wishlist and follow if you like.

I think the combat system is what makes or breaks a game like this. Right now it looks kinda janky, we'll see what it's like if they release a demo.

i don't think the combat system is the main focus in a dungeoncrawler. there is no much pvpvpe dungeoncrawlers and dark and darker removed from steam. This can be alternative

To tell the truth Dark and Darker will probably be back and this just looks like a cheap copy of that game made from assets.

Maybe it will be fun but the developer having 3 EA games at the same time and not finishing a single one but planning to do all 3 does not spark confidence - more like trying to make quick cash on copying games that were popular like Dark and Darker or Dark Souls or Dying Light by using ready store bought assets.

I didn't get the 3 EA part. You are right is seems a bit dangerous. Bravehood is not EA.

Dark and darker was pretty bad, but even there the main focus was the combat, so I am not sure what you mean. The combat is basically the main gameplay loop and it's what you'll be doing 90% of the time in a roguelite.

Didn't they get banned because the devs stole assets? As said the game had no matchmaking and hardcore players who constantly grind and destroy newbies and casual players because the game's design is terrible.

What is the main focus in a dungeon crawler, in your opinion?

Blackburne Games launched Ex Natura: Nature Corrupted at the end of Feburary this year in EA and it's not expected to be done till Q3. It's also supposed to be heading to Xbox One, PS4 and PS5. This month they just started promoting another game that's going to be released into EA soon, Borderwatch: Dark Armada as well as going to Xbox One, PS4 and PS5 consoles.

Then you have Bravehood which started being lighly promoted in March that supposed to be heading to Steam, Xbox One and PS5. They seem like their in way over their head tbh and Bravehood seems like something they more than likely are throwing together as fast as they can to try to capitilize on popularity of Dark and Darker and it being removed from Steam.

3 titles on Steam in EA and they are trying to launch all on consoles as well? Ex Natura and Borderwatch both said to have 6 months only of EA, which is fairly short. Considering how little has been done in 2 months with Ex Natura they probably need to consider keeping these titles in EA a whole lot longer. I definitely would wait for awhile to see a ton of progress and feedback in reviews on any of their games before even considering adding it to a wishlist, let alone thinking about a purchase.

All of them made by different teams. Me personally located on the abu dhabi office recently. And bravehood is not going to be EA.

this is your full time job? no offence meant but it is a bit risky to both have a job and employ (as someone must do) people full time when the company doesn't even have (at least that i know) any experience in gaming

well it wasn't like that. we just wanted to make a small game with Ex Natura's codebase. So we built another team. Then we thought it would be fun to have dark souls invasions. We didn't even know the story of DnD

Depths of Peril? It's not quite a Diablo clone and not quite a MOBA.
