It gives same level access that f2p of game will. Basically you get +1 game for steam.
Though, with having game on Steam you can use Bethesda.net key for champions pack /w your steam account and save a lot.
I think they still go for like 2€ on ebay.
Beware of steam codes there also exists codes with Base Game + Platinum Packs (at least 3 different one in Humble Monthly and 2 given free), so make sure it clearly says Champions Pack. Basically people sell those as full game or full game + dlc and similar names.

15 ARP points are needed for Level 2

Voting on 20 pieces of content (forum threads for example) - 4 points
Logging in today - 1 points
Finishing the daily sword quest - up to 5 points

So at best you might get around 10 points today, since the weekly quest is quite hard and hasn't been solved by anyone yet - you can still get 1 point if you give up on it, though.

Alienware changed the system recently to prevent people from abusing the levels in this manner, and to encourage actual participation. So if you want to take advantage of future giveaways, the best way is to be active.

it's put on hold for now. after they recently changed ARP system (removed voting on posts, as it was generating shitload of useless 'thank you' spam and people upvoting these 'thank you' messages to quickly get daily voting ARP) a lot of angry trolls started downvoting en'masse to 'show AW how angry they are that they cannot farm ARP for free anymore'. It resulted in many more active contributors to start loosing lots of ARP, up to some people losing hundreds of ARP and a few levels after 2 days of this trolling. So to fight it AW removed ARP from content voting for now until they figure out a way to fix the system.

i never understood why people upvoted those spam posts. you got ARP for downvoting as well. so it was really not a lot of effort to vote in a way that potentially makes the forum better and get your reward at the same time.

because people voting en'masse in 1-2 minutes were also people spamming in these threads with all these useless messages. So it probably gave them idea of group-effort against bad company that don't allow them to farm GiveAways. If I will upvote everyone's spam, everyone will upvote my spam as well.

not entirely gone, only voting on posts is gone, voting on content (threads, news, images, videos etc) is just put on hold while they rework it so it cannot be abused by trolls who started massively downvoting everything when ARP changed. From what they said on closed forums it will be back, but only positive votes will be giving ARP, while negative votes will only work to flag content for review and eventual deletion (and then when deleted all ARP gained by deleted content will be removed plus additional ARP will be removed as punishment - this way they want to balance out lack of negative ARP).
