I assumed earlier that this is maybe due to the steam sale nearing its end, but it doesn't seem to be the case. Game card drops have also stopped coming.

Game card will start dropping after 2 hours of playing the game. Its a new rule implemented for the steam refund policy

Initial drop is at least 2 hours, the succeding drops are 15-30 mins (standard droprate like before)

They should've just made it that if the user received card drops from the game, they are instantly not viable for a refund.
EDIT: Or just apply the new card drop times for games bought from the Steam Store. Kind of a pain when it comes to card farming though.

Yes, that could work. Unfortunately they have no similar mechanism in place, so it will unlikely happen in the near future.

I noticed when I crafted badges sometimes it wouldn't show me I earned a new Monster card, but when I manually checked my inventory/badge progress, I could see one had been given to me.
Don't know if anyone else experienced this.

Yep. That happened to me since from the start of the sale. But not this time. Checked it four more times after crafting the first miss, still no luck.

maybe because some card from your card sets not tradeable till expiration date for monster card so valve choose not drop more monster card for crafting badge.

That would be unfair, wouldn't it? If they would stop those card drops, they should've compromised by giving out coupons instead as per normal crafts should do.

yeah that really suck, i just stop crafting badges using cards from market since few days ago to avoid problem like this happened to me.
hope this only temporary problem and you can get your monster card drop from crafting badges

I've crafted five badges earlier and all of them didn't drop any cards. They didn't give any coupons either, only the emoticon and background wallpaper. Anyone having the same issues?
