The game is just to have something on to stream it serves no other purpose. They're primarily just enticing people to sub and drop bits for games.

not true sure like any program paying for a season pass or for extra items or XP etc... but i have never paid once to earn points at all

like what captain capacitor said just leave the stream on even turned down works and earn points 50 per 10 minutes i think and then save them up to get games from their store - i have got over 30 Steam games and dlc this way for free (in fact i have it on earning while i am doing my work - since i'm on my computer most the day) - i have no more to do with it than be a user (if you need help just let me know - but i think this is a way people who have less money to spend on games earn keys for giveaways as well)
