I'm looking to introduce someone to Telltale's The Walking Dead, but they're not very fast at reading on a computer at all. Does anyone know of a mod out there that removes the need to quickly choose a response in conversations so they can take the time they need to read everything?

Edit: Thank you for the first three people telling me that that's part of the game and they should enjoy it in spite of that. They really won't.

That's kind'a part of the game. "split second decision making." If they're going to like it, they'll be fine just as it is.

I'm sure there are probably screencaps of every conversation on the net. Can't remember but does it allow you to pause the game during one of these conversations?

It does, but not in a way that allows you to read the dialogue, I believe.

There's a trainer...

Just noticed who you are. HaHa HI! I'm not giving a link, but yes, there is a "freeze decision timer" trainer.

Also, I hope all is well with you.

You can use a trainer for it. Ala freeze the timer. Either check out the opcodes yourself or download someone elses. There might be some cheat engine tables for that as well. So yeah, probs no mods, but plenty of memory editors.

I've the link to the trainer that allows to freeze the timer, not sure if I may post it here since they are basically hacks...

I think you'll be fine considering a mod is asking for it ^^

I'd say it's fine to post. Not exactly something that's going to upset multiplayer balance, is it? Or is it something that screws with Steam?

You just have to be cautious with trainers as they often have malware. Just check it with Virustotal or something similar and if you don't want to risk the false positives, you could use Sandboxie or something similar.

False Positives can be extremely annoying.... Take my word for it.
I wouldn't say often, but there's definitely a risk involved.
