I didn't really understand. If you buy it on steam, choose to buy it as a gift and put it in your inventory. If you buy it for yourself, it will be added in your library and you won't be able to give it to anyone else.

if you buy it on steam for your self, you will get it in your library, not able to gift it to someone else. you have to choose the gift option^^

if you buy it on an other site, you most likely will get a key
