Hello all,

I was wondering if anyone could recommend any good fighting games for the PC? Preferably on steam. I was a big fan of the Soul Caliber, Virtua Fighter, and the Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm games. I was hoping someone would be able to point me in the direction of something similar that I could play on my computer since I no longer have any consoles.

Thanks

actually Blazblue can be picked up from the Games For Windows Live platform, doesn't require a retail dvd or the win8 store.

Too bad the occidental version is somewhat censored from what I hear. I could care about panties or not but you can't remove frames from a 2D fighting game. :\

I never played this Steam game but it looks like S4 League. I guess you could call it a fighting game

Guilty Gear series. You can get (Guilty Gear X2 Reloaded](http://www.gog.com/gamecard/guilty_gear_x2_reload) & Guilty Gear Isuka on GOG. each for $5.99.
Also, Street Fighter IV & Street Fighter IV Arcade.
And you can try King Of Fighters but you need NeoGeo (or something like this) emulator.
Oh and Street Fighter Alpha 2

Street Fighter X Tekken, Mortal Kombat Kollection, SF4 Acade edition, Kung Fu Strike, and soon SkullGirls.
Probably we will have on steam Mortal Kombat 9, KOF XIII and naruto ultimate ninja 3 since there is achievements leaks about those.
Out of steam service you cafind the Guilty Gears reloaded and isuka and BlazBlue.

But if you use emulatores you will find plenty of fightig games

I spent lots of hours on Super Street Fighter 4: Arcade Edition. And I can't regret any of those. :)

Skullgirls is another very nice game which is about to come out on PC (already out on consoles, PC release was post-poned due to a mess with the publisher). I already backed the guys up during their last foundraiser (I'm also getting a copy of the game for doing so :)).

I have (and played a bit) Street Fighter X Tekken, but I really prefere SSF4. I personally prefere SF4, but I can still reccomend this if you have a friend who would play in team with you and/or you like long combos.

Mortal Kombat should come out on PC in a few months as well. It's a nice game, but plays different and feels a bit "clunky" (compared to SF4 that is). In MK you play mostly with your special moves and you "zone" the opponent with them, while in SF there's a bigger component in playing "footsies" and using normal moves as well.

+1 for Zeno Clash. It is indeed a fighting game, and a fun and original one, as you play in first person view. Few games makes you feel the weight of the hits as well as Zeno Clash does. While you advance you get more and more moves and the fights become more and more articulate.

Not much on steam other than Skullgirls (which a lot of people have mentioned) and the much more obvious choices like SF and stuff.

  • Melty Blood
  • Immaterial and Missing Power
  • Hopeless Masquerade

Hmm, look pretty cool. I thought you were joking with the names of the games. But they do actually look really cool. :)

Melty Blood is probably one of the most popular of the three, Hopeless Masquerade is more new. I haven't played much of Immaterial yet.

Mugen is fun and free if you want to play some of the most ridiculous matchups possible. (i.e. Homer Simpson vs Sonic the Hedgehog or Godzilla vs Ronald McDonald)

There is a Marvel vs Capcom 2 clone made with the Mugen engine too if you're interested in that.
