Kind of a long story, but you can probably still view traces of my rants on the SGifts Steam group discussions page...
In a nutshell, had a SGifts account, had a Steam account. Steam account got banned, SGifts account became unusable. Made another Steam account, made another SGifts account. Having 2nd SGifts account isn't allowed, got banned on SGifts. Now unbanned on SGifts and Steam.

btw, you can no longer get banned on Steam, they "only" lock/restrict your account, meaning you can still access all you games but you can no longer trade stuff/buy stuff/use the market/...

If the suspended person wants to cancel a giveaway (if the suspension lasts a considerable amount of time), we tend to delete it at their request. If they want to gift, we can provide them with the winner's name (after 7 days. Mods can't see them either).

Joke begging is still punishable, because joke begging can, does and will lead to actual begging by people too stupid to get the joke. Cracking down on jokes limits it. That said, Cipsuletz' comment wasn't even the slightest bit joking.
