I would be probably an archer/wizard or healer. That's because I prefer to stay away from the fight (because, you know, I'm 5 ft tall xD) and I'd like to see what is happening in wider view. And I'm that kind of person who want to help everybody so I would like to take care of the rest of the team "Hey, maybe you need something? No? Are you sure? Ok. Your spell is ready btw. so you can use it."
But from the other side, when I'm excited so much about something, I want to be everywhere like doing a lot of stuff, running in the enemys line (I'm pretty fast) and assasinate them or steal from them important things so I could be an assassin/thief too (You know, fast little person which you probably wouldn't spot).
For sure I wouldn't be tank-related class (warrior/fighter). 😆

Rogue That is NOT the same as a assa(sine)!!!
my prefered chars and/or playstyle at Pen&Paper RPG's that i play since nearly 30 years now ;o)
Informations, traps, hidden stuff, higher payments after a lot of talks with the quest givers (75% of it shared with the group, 25% not talked about because i have done the work...^^ -you get the direction^^-), loot at quests, from enemies and (maybe) from fallen group members.....
I collect all, yes each rusty sword too, and i sell all because at some point money or good equipment is for sure needed.

I tend to use Barbarian too much in RPGs, and never seem to mix it up... but I still like to get in people's face and get all stabby, and then piss off before they can hit back, so maybe a Rogue. I need to try this class... any game on Steam I might have that would be good to try this class on?

I was thinking more along the lines of Blacksmith. Adventurer sells me an "unidentified" sword for 100 gold and then I resell it back to them for 100000 gold. Because who cares if the adventurer needs to stop the Legions of HELL™ or whomever from killing everyone and needs the best equipment to do so? I need to make my money! XD
Ooor, alternatively I could have some kind of Magic shop that sells "rare" items which permanently boost stats... and for each bought I increase the price by a set percentage (I'd have to think about the exact number but 100% sounds like a good starting point :D ), with each Adventurer having their own seperate price for each item. Then they buy some cheap, feel the power permanent stat boost provides and then have to pay me more and more money for more stat boosts. And the devs are probably gonna make the game so they need those stat boosts to succeed... ...Yeah, I know- it sounds like I'm selling drugs. Well, good thing RPGs don't have any laws about that. :D

Drone rigger, with a side of vehicle rigging for convenience and an armored van for transport. What can I say ? I like Shadowrun, and providing a mobile command center and remote recon to your team is a lot of fun :)
Then again, Shadowrun doesn't have a strict class system, it's more or less sticking to suggested archetypes while you mix and match whatever you want. (except magic and cybernetics don't mix that well)

Paladin for me in most D+D/RPG games like Baldur's gate/PoE etc.
Rogue in World of Warcraft.
Wizard in Dragon Age.
Dwarf Warrior/tank in pen and paper D+D a long time ago.
Multiclass for me then I suppose.

In the simple Warrior/Thief/Mage/Priest type of RPG, a Mage for sure, with Arcane and Ice schools of magic. Not a fire mage, as heat and high luminosity are not my thing. It's pretty cool, it requires to read a lot, it's respected and feared, it can be lunatic, it strikes from distance.
With more traditional classes, something close to a Shaman would also be cool. Not one who uses human or animal spirits, more an elemental Shaman using strength of the Earth.
The class I love is sadly pretty rare in RPGs. A psychic mage, illusionist, mesmer, it has many names. Someone who manipulates the mind of the opponent, creates illusions. You don't even have to fight and destroy your environment when you break the spirit of your enemy in a simple gaze.
In any case, a class that uses magic.

So here we are again. Me asking inane questions such as this.
A lot of us play RPG's and we have the kind of class we like the best.
So envision yourself as the character in the game and tell me what class you would be suited to play as.
I was going to make a poll but the polling system was being a. Well, you know what I was going to call it.
