Every time I start Borderlands 2, I receive an initialization error that tells me that the files are either moved or corrupted... What should I do?

Relax. It's been only 7 minutes since you posted the topic. Also, have you tried verifying the game files?

1) This is not your personal support forum where we're all waiting to fix your problems.
2) OP - 13 minutes ago. This comment - 6 minutes ago. 7 minutes apart.

In short - stop acting like such an entitled fucking diva. Jezus.

And when asking for help, it helps if you tell us exactly what the error message says. "..initialization error that tells me that the files are either moved or corrupted" says absolutely nothing. What files is it talking about? What does the error actually tell you, word for word?

this ^

Also, if you're in such an hurry to get this game to work, why don't you just google it?
Seriously, it took me 2 clicks to find the answer to your problem :/

I googled it afterwards, but I thought I might consult with you fellows

The error says exactly what I told you, so don't try to make me a scapegoat. Game files are either moved or corrupted

Just don't answer when it is such a problem for you.

Dude, it honestly doesn't help when all you type in the thread is "Borderlands 2". You don't even say if there's a technical issue at all. How should people know to help when you don't even give us enough information? Do you expect people to click every thread on the forum; I know that I don't.

There is no problem about that, I do not blame you for not answering. I just tried to put the thread back in the first page because it got lost immediately...

Wow, you really are a piece of work. "Just don't answer when it is such a problem for you"? What, now you try to ignore the part where I was complaining about your attitude, which I have every right to do since it was so annoying and entitled?

I bothered asking for more details to see if I could help you, even after you acted like a diva. It wasn't a problem for me to answer or try to help, but your attitude was a problem for me.

1) How does the word "scapegoat" even make any sense in this context?
2) Again, too few details. Is the error message a steam window, or a windows error message?

Actually, I couldn't care less any more. Another commenter here even said he found the solution with minimal effort on google. So, first, you don't even bother trying to fix the problem yourself, and expect the community here to do all the hard work for you, then you have the balls to complain about us not replying fast enough for your liking?

Suck a fat one.

ROFL look at his name "Flammable"
anyways did you consider you PC doesn't meet the requirements for the game? or maybe u have it on too high of a setting that it causes errors? and did you try looking on the steam community hub/posting there to see if someone had the same issues.

I have already played the game for 15 hours, and... yes, my computer can run every existing game anyways, so... that should not be the problem

Right click on your game on library > properties > there's an option for you to re-check your cache files. It will download the damaged/missing game files not the whole game :).
Cheers!
