Magicka Wizard Wars is pretty unique.
It WAS advertised in some sites as a "MOBA" but it's nothing like LoL or Dota.
It's more like a deathmatch between mages, you combine different elements to cast unique spells. You can 1v1 or 4v4.
Really worth checking.

Warframe is kinda cool, cool melee, cool weapons, cool powers, cool everything.
PS2 is also cool, huge maps, shite tons of players, and it's free.
Toribash, ragdoll fighting game thing, with blood.
Blacklight Retribution, an FPS with tons of customization.
Soldier Front 2, 'CoD'ish gameplay.
Hawken, Mech FPS.
War Thunder, Dog-fighting Simulator 201x.
Tactical Intervention, Tactical FPS.
AA: Proving Grounds, 'Merican people training.
Yeah, those are my recommendations.
Hope you like it

What's "PS2" /inb4 playstation trolling
i'm so mehhhhh about warframe. I don't know. I don't really like it, I hate the artstyle too. Plus the farming you have to do as a free-to-play player is ridiculous. It minds as well be pay-to-win.
Blacklight is awesome, maybe I should get back into that game. I wish Tribes ascend still had players. That game was so much fun.

Mightier is an older, lesser known free game on Steam, listed as a demo, it's a fairly unique little puzzle, platformy, game thing...
Dragon Nest is one of my favorite Action MMORPGs, though I haven't played it in quite a while.
I remember Maple Story being alright as well, but there's probably some better side-scrolling MMOs out there.
Thanks for introducing me to Happy Wars, that game actually looks like it could be pretty fun to play.
Wouldn't have known about it if not for this thread/post/thing.

I really like Spiral Knights, it's a good MMO with an unique art style. However, don't be fooled by the cute robots, the game can be freaking hard and require skills to win more than grinding. It has also the fairest business model I've seen in a F2P. The only weak spot for me is an end game a little repetitive (but which MMO hasn't one?)

For some reason I actually seem to enjoy Free-to-Play titles more than games I pay for some of the time. But anyway here's my personal list of my top 5 f2p games.
Team Fortress 2 - I love this game so much, I never thought I'd meet a game that'd love me back so much when the only thing I did for it was toss it a 5 to be a premium member XD And here I am with 1200+ hours under my belt and so many gaming moments I'll never forget.
Vindictus - This game isn't amazing, but the action feels so good and fluid and it's extremely fun. I love taking down bosses with peeps in mah group. Plus solo-playing it is pretty darn sweet too, which is a total plus.
No More Room in Hell- I personally was shocked to play a zombie-survival game this good and it's free. This game is surprisingly good and actually puts a lot of zombie games out there to shame, especially since this one's free and is better than them.
Happy Wars - This game is a good time (not so much if you don't play it with a xbox 360 controller. The mouse & keyboard controls suck imo.) , the game pits 15 players against another team with 15 players and you have to take down their stronghold core-tower to win the game (or have the most amount of towers when the timer runs out) The controls work pretty well and all the functions the game offers are pretty sweet. Upgrading your loot is fun and feels good. Buffing and removing buffs on weapons and stuff isn't really clear and it's confusing is kind of bad. Though it you manage to get a buff onto your weapon or armor or whatever, it's definitely rewarding since those buffs are pretty darn helpful! The game isn't really pay-to-win at all honestly. F2p players get a shot at getting premium stuff everytime they use the happy spinner where you place a bet and see if you win. And you WILL use the happy spinner often. Iunno, the game's micro transaction isn't that ridiculous and it's pretty rad. Iunno, go check it out. Good game.
Fistful of Frags - Pass the whiskey. Nuff' said.
Mind you, this list is just composed of f2p titles i've played and liked on steam. There's a lot of f2p titles I haven't played yet, and i'll get around to them someday maybe. Maybe you guys can recommend one or two for me.
Anyway, what's some f2p titles you guys like? on or off steam. Doesn't really matter, I know I like Phantasy Star 2 Online, dat shit is funnnn.
