It's one of the only Free to Play MMOs that I really like. Are you sure you are not thinking of Defiance?

Nope, definitely Rift. The absolute worst crafting system i've ever seen in an MMO, with only one profession being even remotely useful, and only then in PvP (which nobody plays because it's so incredibly awful), some of the worst quests i've honestly ever seen, a difficulty notched down so low that it's just as impossible to die as it is to run out of mana, and non-existent class balance. Absolute dogshit.

& Neverwinter Online also seems not bad....OH AND TERA ONLINE i hear u can block in Tera Online ,kinda like a Forge game from Steam but mmorpg :X :D

Totally this.
I've heard lots of thoughts on how Rift is a WoW clone... And since when is it a bad thing? It's a very successful WoW clone (unlike, say, RoM) with lots of new features, dynamic PVE system and a rather progressive clas-sspec system. You can have more then just two specs, you can be a healer, a tank or a DD without leveling dozens of alts. It's awesome.
Leveling from 1 to 50 is fast and easy. 50-60 is a bit dull and the quests are boring, but with Rift Hunting and dungeon runs it also can be fun.
I haven't made it to the high end content just yet, but I've heard positive responses on that matter as well.

PATH OF EXILE - how D3 was supposed to be i mean dun get me wrong diablo 3 etc are nice too but if Grinding Gear Games (made PathOfExile) had blizzTARDS's budget & time -like,what,10 years+? ,PoE would've been game of the year for 5 years.

Path of Exile is definitely not an MMO, just as D3 isn't one.

It is a mmorpg lol dude. Neither is DotA 1,2, HoN,LoL,Demigod etc they are mobas ,bla bla etc.
but yeah people use mmorpg because of - MASSIVE MULTIPLAYER ONLINE ROLEPLAYING GAME ,they are massively played so that's how ppl use the words. & I wasn't bashing DotA 1,2, etc btw since i have 8-9 years of DotA 1&2-3 HON& LoL,just saying MMOHUT & all the other spice girls started this trend of calling lots of games "mmorpgs" .

By definition they aren't MMORPG's. They can be called MMO games, but definitely not RPG's.

actually, Path Of Exile by definition is an aRPG. So how is that not an RPG? i'm confused.
Path of Exile is hands down my favorite game in the aRPG genre (diablo-ish games). Everyone who's into that sort of thing should play it. It's SOOOOOO good and it's still not even out of beta!

Also OP check - DRAGON RAJA , CroNous , Dark Eden (Dark Eden is like Diablo 2 but mmorpg not a limited number of players per server/map & it has humans versus vampires vs witches) , first3 games by TQ Digital (Eudemons Online,Conquer Online,Monster&Me) , Age Of Wulin/Wushu (some new martial arts cool mmorpg) etc. As a guy said google is ur friend but definatly check these ones ;)

The problem is that the combat is the only good thing that game has. The game itself is so boring. Big landscapes with nothing really in them, very boring and very grindy quest system. It's a shame because the combat system is really great.
GW2 also has a very dynamic combat system, but without the boredom that Tera is.

I liked Shin Megami Tensei: Imagine, but I am fan of the series in general.
The monsters are pretty unique though, and you have a Pokemonesque thing where you can catch the enemy creatures (And SMT did it before Pokemon, before anyone claims Rip-off)

Always wanted to get into EVE Online, I realize it isn't "free" but any MMO you dedicate to will have you slapping down some coin eventually. As I said, never really got into EVE but it seems to have an extremely deep community with many old, old players still active giving the game a lot of player-written history and politics. If I were ever to go for an MMO again, it would likely be EVE (possibly the new Elder Scrolls also).

+1 for this. Currently paying for three accounts using only a few hours a week on trading and mining. :)

Wait, what? Wizet is the original developer of MapleStory. You mean Nexon?
They did keep the first "continent", though the locations are completely redesigned. They added tons of stuff to do, it could easily suck all of your day time if you're there to do every action available. Many people left because of the frequent updates and rebalancing, but I'd say most of the changes were for the better in the end.

An MMORPG I liked was Dragon Nest, didn't get very far through it because my computer is kinda dumb sometimes.

I've played a few of those, PWI, Ether Saga Online and Jade dynasty are the ones i've spent most time in. Wouldn't recommend anyone of them, might be fun early levels if you have friend(s) to play with. They're free to play but you need to put in some serious cash or grind as if it was your job for over a year to get gear to make a difference in late game or in pvp at all in the games. If you do have cash though, you can get a maxed out char with best gear within a week, just need to put out a bit over $10k to get it that fast.

Don't play anything that is under GameForge (european TERA, Aion and stuff). They're just awful company.
Try RIFT. It's a lot of fun.

I'm surprised not to see EQ2 mentioned. F2P has two slots and no ability to buy from broker or send mail...toss $5 at it to unlock two more slots and buy from broker, or for the fairly minimal purchases you'd truly NEED early on, make a friend and ask them to take your money and buy bags etc on broker.
It's reasonably playable at bronze, truly good at silver, and full gold can be maintained via in game tokens called Kronos you can buy with in game currency. I have 5 accounts, hubby has 3, sister has 2...I regularly keep our main accounts up plus a month here and there for some of the minor perks on gold for about 45 min when I first wake up and a couple of 5 minute sessions during the day. Extremely easy for the class I picked, but almost any class can find a way to cheese it...I'd expect maybe a few of the pure healers could have issues.

I have been enjoying Star Wars: The Old Republic; but that is a little restricted for non-subscribers.

That has been removed very recently. You can now play as long as you like for free.

While not exactly free; it does not bear a subscription and is amazingly good. May I suggest Guild Wars 2?

I am looking for a free mmorpg (no monthly fee and stuff like that sh*z), since i saw that wildstar online is gonna be monthly fee subscription based....
So now i am here looking for something fun and somewhat addicting mmorpg (cuz god i love those games, leveling up makes me jizz in my pants)
Thanks for your opinions in advance!
