Despite the overly used plot,I enjoyed this visual novel,mostly because of the ending. While the actual tests were rather dull learning the backstory was quite interesting.
For the sake of anyone interested in getting all four endings,here is a little guide:
This game uses a scoring system to determinate what ending you get.
The following options give you a point are: Thank you,Are you sure,You alright,Lay off him,Protect Xiao,Smile.
The following options don't give you a point: I guess I don't really have a choice,Nothing,I told you about those clothes,Calm down,Attack Sì,Frown.
A score of 0,1 or 2 gets you the "rebirth" ending,a score of 3 gets you the "trade" ending,a score of 4 gets you the "alone" trading and a score of 5 or 6 gets you the true ending.

Okay, done. :o Had some trouble getting the, as you have called it, 'alone' ending due to me trying getting it with 5 points. Took me a few skipfests to realize it only works for 4 points. So, the score of 6 AND 5 give you the true ending, unless I'm retarded and screwed up so many times. :p
Usually I forget to mention it, but this post is of course gonna contain spoilers, so yah ... I had a good feeling for this one, just by seeing the menu, lol. And in fact, it did not disappoint, so that's nice. There was some random stuff here and there, the beginning for example. It left me quite 'whoa, wtf is happening here', but it wasn't a bad thing. I liked those challenges at first, but then they just became a bit annoying, and the progression felt a bit slow. Also, I haven't expected the body swap, even tho the dark skin + blue eyes combo was quite odd indeed. But that made the whole resurrection thingy make more sense. About the endings, well, I guess I prefer the one which is worth the least points, lol.
The thing I liked the most about this VN, just has to be the art. It was quite astonishing imo (me being a 'fan' of autumn forests does of course help the cause). Now, to not make this post any longer, I believe this was quite an enjoyable VN.
Oh and didn't like the typos. :p

What I posted is a cleaned version of several posts the author made about getting endings(I didn't name them myself),it's possible I've messed up as he wasn't very clear,so I edited my walkthrough now.
I agree on the backgrounds and menus looking pretty,but I feel like the sprites are more subjective. They were well done,but I can't really say they are pretty. That's about personal preferences though.
I didn't feel like it was slow,I just felt like all those tests don't really contribute much to the story..
And no one likes typos,really.

Oh, you're forgiven then. Hmm, sprites.. I think they were nice - only one I didn't like was the Elisa one. About the tests .. now that you mention it, it might have to do with all the skipping I did to get all the endings - they take a while even in skip mode.

Saw all endings at last. Actually I'm sure that only score of 6 results in true ending, as was originally written in first comment. I checked options I selected after my first walkthrough and they summed up to 5, but I still got "alone" ending.
While I liked the story, I agree with S0me1 that challenges were a bit boring. First one with riddles was still interesting, but for others you're basically told the correct answer before each question and have to fail on purpose. At least some bits during trials provide subtle hints to the ending, like Bethlyn using magic to escape the lake of Tears or choosing gun (staff) to defeat Si.
What I liked for certain in this novel is music and UI. Writing felt like it was originally written in Chinese then translated in English: there are typos, weird phrases, meaningful Chinese names that are not explained at all - I figured out that demigod siblings names are just numbers quickly, but had to google them to make sure. However there's no info about Chinese version on official site.
Also, can extras in the main menu be unlocked? I got all endings but it's still disabled.
