i checked mine and by default it was already turned off

i had over 9000, annd that was just on my main google account

Well i browse incognito and some times i use http://duckduckgo.com/ both good search engines

I turned off/did not enable web history long ago, and they (claim to) know nothing about my browsing habits.

Reminder that Google broke through browser security in Internet Explorer and Safari. Those are exploits we KNOW about.

Just so you all know. Google logs every single search since its inception. Deleting your "web history" only removes it from you, and NOT from google's history.
