The SmileTris series is a pill-based clone of Dr. Mario, SmileTris 3 seeming to have a pink-yellow pill and pastel colors. Check out the previous games SmileTris Panic and SmileTris 2, maybe it's one of those instead.

Platform would help immensly to narrow down potential candidates.

I've found Dr Horst, I remember playing it, but there's no pink-yellow pills, so it must be something similiar.

Hmm. I know of a game like that - Deko Bloko - and I remember a friend of mine saying that almost every game on FunOrb (where Deko Bloko is located) was based off of previous games. For Deko Bloko, he said it was based off "Dr. Phlogiston's Magic Beans" or something like that. I doubt that's it, since "Dr. Phlogiston" is from another game on FunOrb, but "Magic Beans" might help you out a bit.

Some Dr. Mario ripoffs that I see are Doctris and Dr. Hello, not many screenshots floating around on google images for the second one but I'm not seeing any yellow/pink pills, but maybe I'm missing some
