I bought it earlier as well. Was surprised I didnt notice it before. But I was looking at AoE2, when I saw in related game, and instantly bought it.
Never did enjoy AoE2, but always enjoyed AoE3. Worth getting on steam, just in case I ever feel like playing again.

Yeah it could have possibly been an error, but ON December 28th it was $3.61 USD. I am pretty sure I bought it from Steam then. I believe it was during the Winter sale. Although after just checking the forums for AOE III, it is mentioned being on sale since the beginning of the day, so that most probably is no error. It`s just an older game.

Could be a price error, but previously AoE III on it's own was more expensive than the Legacy bundle. When I saw it I assumed it was to fix that more than anything, to make 2 cheaper than 3 and 3 cheaper than the bundle.

Ok I was wrong about it being cheaper, but it was the same price, at least in my currency.
Since the 19th, AoEII has been £2.24
Since the 19th, AoEII + Forgotten Exapnsion has been £2.84
Since the 19th, the Legacy bundle (Aoe II + Forgotten Expansion + AoE III) has been £4.49
On the 19th-20th AoEIII was £4.49. Why would anyone buy that when they could get the Legacy bundle at the same price?
Since the 21st AoE III has been £3.29 which makes a lot more sense.
So I just assumed it was to fix the bundle price and the AoEIII price being the same. Rather than bumping the price of the bundle, they lowered AoEIII to fit in nicely with the pricing structure of everything else.
