Bug or not?

Seems like i can enter GAs with a DLC i got.. Could enter: Mafia III: Sign of the Times and some Arma DLC. I removed the entries, but i should not be able to enter the GAs when i got the game or dlc? Am i bugged or is SG bugged?

Steam API. Known "feature". Be careful, you'd still get suspended if you win something you already have.

If you win something you already own by mistake you can just ask for reroll. Much better than a suspension if caught.

People on your friends list can see them can't they?
Refusal to let someone check are grounds for a reroll IMO.

Steam doesn't tell SG which DLCs are owned by you.
You have to check and block them manually yourself.
Also, there are a few "add-ons" for games that don't count as DLCs by the Steam API. Identify and block them manually too.

Thanks for the fast info, yea i will ask for a reroll if it ever happens. I wont get suspended then?
So this is only a DLC problem and i dont have to worry about Games?

Yes, if you accidentally win something you shouldn't have, you should comment in the giveaway and tell the OP to re-roll the giveaway. Same as if you've won, for example, the same game simultaneously.

Also, if you win something you already own, do NOT mark the giveaway "Received." We can re-roll the giveaway, but it will cause confusion if you mark it "Received." (I know it doesn't make sense to do that, but some people do.)

I wont mark it received if i make a mistake, but do i mark it not reseived? Or should i not press any of them if it ever happens?

Good rule of thumb with DLC or anything that includes DLC: click on the game link and check in Steam whether you own it.
