Just wondering if anyone happens to have any ideas. I've played this game quite a lot with no issues and all of a sudden my monitor would go black, then the game would come back up and then go black again before I could even continue playing. It would also bring up a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark in the icons near the clock. Turns out new drivers for my graphics card had been released and they solved that issue. A few days later I started getting a couple more issues. I sometimes get an issue where it can't connect properly, it tells me how many players are online but can't bring up the game mode selection and I have to relaunch the game. That one's bearable but annoying. The other and more major issue I am having is similar to the first issue, except my monitor is coming up with a message 'No HDMI detected.' I can get it to come back on but then it just ends up doing it again, pretty much rendering the game almost unplayable. So far I haven't had any issues with any other game. Nothing on my system has changed, any help would be greatly appreciated.

TL;DR: My monitor keeps going black with a message saying no hdmi mid match during Rocket League, no issues with other games.

maybe the card stops working because it overheats? that's why you get the black screen and that driver restart icon.

Yeah I think that's exactly what's happening, the issue started occurring with other games after I posted here. When I took the card out and put it back in again I heard the fans spinning when I turned the computer on and realised I hadn't heard them for a little while so do think they were connected properly. Seems to be all good now, thanks.

First thing I do when having troubles:
Check the game files: right click on game in steam library > properties > check file chache (or something like that)

Not sure this will be the case, because it seems it's a problem with your GPU.
Have you already asked in the game's forum at Steam?

Good luck!

Yeah, I asked there as well and had someone mention overheating gpu as well. I think MuIIins was correct as I seem to have it sorted now, thanks.
